woohoo...finally my statistics exam is over!
-phew- well, after those 2 days of constant screwing of stats info into my little piggy brain...my efforts finally were put to tis test. i could say tat the paper was not badly done after all cos i did managed to answer most of da questions, though i knew tat most of them would turn out wrong.
-wat the?!- but aniwae, its beta than nothing at all rite?
oh ya, hopefully all those last-minute teachings to my brother
(kang ming) will help him to pass the paper.
-pray pray- i spent sth like 3 hrs teaching him over da phone till
2am can! then woke up damn early in da morning at 6.30am! wakao! the exams supposed to start at 9am alright! but i woke up early to go meet bro. bue tahan man! i was snoozing on my way to outram to meet him in the morning yeah...aniwae, so kind of bro to treat me to mac's big breakfast as reward for teaching him stats.
-yummy yumyum- thks alot bro! and oh bro, u're welcum k and u're my bro so i cant possibly leave you in da lurch rite?!
-grinz-
so, almost all down and im left with the accounts only. i will study hard for it. betcha for tat! i've gt a 'reputation' to maintain alright...i studied accounts in my secondary days k, so i must not flunk it or sth if not it's so xia-sway man! erm...tink tats all for todae's blog entry...im feeling sleepy...

hopefully my little piggy brain is willing to give me its full co-operation and allow me to screw in all the stats stuff inside it.
-pray pray- if it doesnt, im gonna cry. or better still, im gonna bang my head against the wall so tat my piggy brain will feel the pain too and see if it still dare to go against me... wahaha...i tink there's sth very wrong with my brain already, somebody call the mental hospital pls..thank you...

one who loses hope once,
cherishes the future.
well, i came up with tat after some deep thoughts. dun u agree tat it's always after some great impacts on us tat we finally learn to cherish wat we have and so on?
when someone met up with extreme hardships or situations, and loses all the hope he has in the world, he's nearly at the end of his story. he hasn't got anymore hopes, dreams or watever...it's as though he's in total darkness, whereby he dun even noe wat's or who's lurking in the corner waiting to prey on him anytime. and all he could tink of at tat moment is death. it seems to be the only way out then. but then he suddenly sees a glimpse of light among the whole of darkness, a helping hand stretching out towards him...now he feels there's hope for him. the angel's here for him. and when the holy hand finally reached him, and helped him out of the pile of mess, he regained his confidence and his soul is reborned. being on the verge of death before and having been through all those wits ends, he now cherishes his life and future more than anyone does. reason being he knows how terrible it is to feel the presence of death and nearly losing the life he once thought of as nothing.
no challenge is an easy task, but the hardest of all is in your mind and heart.
it ain't easy for someone to stand up after being dealt with a hard blow. he/she needs to muster hell lots of courage in order to stand up again, especially when striking the first step. it's always the hardest of all dun u agree? it all depends on the mentality and determination of the person. if he/she doesnt possessed the drive, then nobody else can do any help. i guess not all
(some pple being unsensitive to others...) pple know tat it ain't easy to forget everything tat's past nor it is easy to forget all those hardships tat one had been through. these memories always there to haunt the challenger, pple like u and me. they may sometimes serves as motivation to us, but most of them happens to be an obstacle to us challengers. say again, while it's always possible for someone who's been dealt with a hard blow to stand up tall again, it's also possible for one to neva stand up again due to tat fatal blow. but all tat these fallen heroies need in order to stand up tall again is jux encouragement from pple arnd them. and most important of all...to me...is to have someone who have total faith in them...someone who trust and believe...tat he/she will one day make it through...

when you keep harping on the past, and worrying for the future,
you'll have no time for the present.
does tat sounds logical? well, if u agrees with me, then ask urself tis question : do u belong to the above situation or otherwise? i mean do u spend most of ur time thinking or worrying about things tat were already past or have not yet come. or do u jux live for the present? if u happens to fall into the first category (where most of us falls in), let me tell u something : we're wasting our precious time all tis while...any objections? i sense total silence...
dun keep worrying for things tat aren't worth all ur brain cells...make living worthwhile.
dun argue with me...we're always harping on our past, whether its past glory, relations or watever. we kept thinking about them, thinking of better outcomes for each of them. but why? what's past is already past. why bother to even think wat if? but the fact tat we're humans and we have feelings. maybe in life, there are jux some things tat we dun wish to or cant let go of...maybe...wat do u tink?
some of us have tis problem of worrying for the future. things like wat will i be like in the future? wat will i be working as and blah blah blah...but come' on, u'll neva know when u'll be gone *touchwood*, so i suggest enjoying ur day as if it's gonna be ur last. maybe i sounds abit irresponsible or childish here, cos our dear singapore ministers keep asking us to plan for our future and wat nots...but the truth is, if we spend soo much time worrying or planning for the future, we'll have no time for NOW, which means there's a tendancy for us to mess up our present! then again, if we're in a mess, deep shit now, would we still be bothered to plan for the future? or should i say, do we still have the mood to? im not saying tat we should not plan for our future or live jux day by day...im saying tat we shouldnt spend soo much time thinking about the future tat we eventually forget about the present...our current status... the current vaccum of time we're living in.
yesterday is past, tomorrow is future,
today is a gift, that's why we called it the present.
we're all living in the present, something i argued worth living for. i dun understand why some pple chooses to throw it away and kept complaining tat god didnt gave them enough time and wat craps...why dun these pple see tat they're throwing away time themselves and they do not worth much sympathy now. time is very precious, once its gone, its gone for forever. it's not gonna be back, no matter how much u begged. so why not we learn to cherish it now before its gone yet again? if we make use of the present wisely, we would have more beautiful memories to rely on when it turns into past. while im typing tis entry, im wasting abit of my time, abit of the present...but who cares! at least, it's something meaningful...dun u all agree? remember my frens...its the present we're living for.

sometimes it's really strange. we want to be independent soo much at times, yet we couldnt be. but again at times when we wouldnt want to be tat independent, they let us be.
sounds stupid? weird? well, that's life...
found this meaningful writing on the web, it's quite nice so i decided to pin it up on my bloggie.
The Butterfly
A man found a cocoon of a butterfly.
One day a small opening appeared.
He sat and watched the butterfly for
several hours as it struggled to force
its body through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress.
It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could,
and it could go no further.
So the man decided to help the butterfly.
Ho took a pair of scissors and snipped off
the remaining bit of the cocoon.
The butterfly then emerged easily.
But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
The man continued to watch the butterfly
because he expected that, at any moment,
the wings would enlarge
and expand to be able to support the body,
which would contrat in time.
Neither happened!!
In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life
crawling around with a swollen body
and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man, in his kindness and haste,
did not understand was that the resticting cocoon
and the struggle required for the butterfly
to get through the ting opening were God's way
of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly
into its wings so that it would be ready for flight
once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives.
If God allowed us to go through our lives
without any obstacles, it would cripple us.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been.
We Could Never Fly!!!
(Author Unknown)
we're supposed to rely on our own strength to get up from a fall, but sometimes, we really need a helping hand. is it wrong of us to ask for help? does it mean tat we're weak if we get help from others? well, i dunno... but one thing...we cant depend on others forever...or let's jux say that they cant always be there for us...

Perserverance
By Anne Stortz
When all the world is looming dark
and things seem not so clear,
when shadows seem to hover 'round
Lord, may I perservere.
When it seems everything's been tried
and there's no way to go,
just let me keep remembering
sometimes the journey's slow.
I may just need to stop and rest
along the path I trod,
a time to try to understand
and have my talk with God.
As I gain new strength to carry on
without a doubt or fear,
somehow I know things will be right,
and so, I perservere.

all the preparation in the world isn't gonna help.
why is it so? cos no matter how much you prepare, the unexpected will always befall on you. but didnt pple say tat it's always gd to be prepared for everything...so tat everything would flow smoothly, perfectly. if all the preparation doesnt helps, why would we still bother to be prepared in the first place? hmm...it's contradicting...but still...being prepared is beta than not.
i've seen pple, or rather my frens, trying to prepare themselves for exams and tests long before the exam date. is tat gonna help? well, sometimes it do, sometimes not. but still, these pple are a hardworking bunch yeah...deserve praises!!! haha... i've tried to be tat hardworking before, but sadly, the method failed me.
*sobzsobz* hmm...i seems to be confusing myself with my babblings...wth im toking about? oh nvm... jux let me be...

DON'T GIVE UP
When you can't quite make the sale, don't give up.
When your boss says that your best isn't good enough, don't give up.
When people say "no" when you ask them for a favor, don't give up.
When life really gets you down, don't give up.
When there's more month than money, don't give up.
When you give it your all, and that's not enough, don't give up.
When your heart breaks because of unkind people, don't give up.
Life is tough, but don't give up.

You are stronger than you think-
remember to stand tall.
Every challenge in your life
helps you to grow.
Every problem you encounter
strengthens your mind and your soul.
Every trouble you overcome
increases your understanding of life.
When all your troubles weigh heavily
on your shoulders,
remember that beneath the burden
you can stand tall,
because you are never given
more than you can handle-
and you are stronger
than you think.
