sometimes life makes you wonder alot.the things we do, the words we said, the emotions we displayed. how does it matters anyway?maybe it does. maybe to the people and surroundings around us. wat we do or say may very well affects all of em' and bring about consequences which we sometimes can easily guess and which are within our control. but for other times, the consequences come as a surprise. good or bad one? it all depends.
talking about emotions, they're really an irony. you may smile and laugh like mad on the surface in front all people, and be known as the happiest person in the world. but just somehow, deep inside you know you're not at all that. in fact, you're feeling the opposite. feeling melancholic. how weird but true right? up till today, with the great advance in thoughts and technology of us mankind, emotions are still one thing i guess even the greatest scientists on earth can never really comprehend. its seriously complicated and totally unpredictable. let's just say, could you guess correctly your partner's next move? maybe maybe you could hit the jackpot this time, cos' afterall you two may have been together long enough to understand each other almost inside out. take note, i said
almost yea. but let's not forget the fact that surprises are such a common thing in life. he/she may just sprang one on you and get you stunned on the spot.
so there, isnt life funny to understand?

yesterday was chinatown day with birdie xiusi and angelic siokzhi! we all met up after our work. and as usual, we couldnt really resist the strong temptations from the food down there. so, we bought every food that seemed attractive to us! heh. anyhow, we did manage to almost finished them all up. see, we're pretty good at eating yea. haha.
after the chinatown dinner, xiusi left for home while me and siokzhi went over to serangoon to meet the some of the desaru guys. it was louis's last day of attachment and he had actually reserved a table at 'grapevine' (some sort of pub, it's along upper serangoon) to celebrate this day. bro kangming, kaiwei, siokzhi and me were early. so we played pool to pass time while waiting for the rest (marcus, joseph, louis and choon guan) to come. they came near midnight. we opened a bottle of jim beam to share, some of us had earlier ordered some bourbon, bacardi and vodlka. spent out time there playing pool, photohunt and some sequence remembering games on a gaming machines and playing card games. fun and laughters times yea. we left the place arnd 2am and proceed to a prata stall near louis house for supper. and then we went over to louis's house for the night. so there, fun filled times.

desaru group gathering.xiusi, me, siokzhi, louis, marcus, kaiwei, kaidi, joseph, kangming.just came back from louis's house. we had a steamboat cum bbq dinner for our desaru group gathering. a few of us
(xiusi, me, bro kangming, louis, kaiwei and kai di) met up first in the late afternoon to go to heartland mall's cold storage to do the shopping fer our steamboat cum bbq dinner. and we seriously bought lots of food! it costs us around ninety bucks. haha. we took a cab down to louis house after the shopping and started preparing fer dinner. xiusi and me were the main chefs of the day! we did the cutting up of vegetables and ingredients fer the dinner while the guys helped out at the setting up of the tables and etc. the rest of our group came shortly after. so, dinner officially started at around 7plus and we had a fun time cooking and eating. especially my dear birdie xiusi. she was so very into cooking the chicken meat, and was smiling throughout can. and so everybody got at least 2 or 3 pieces of chicken meat from her yea. haha. but its nice lah. heh. we ate till we were so full! then we girls left early around 10pm cos we all gotta work the next morning. anyhow, i enjoyed the dinner and gathering. more to come soon!

the flu virus is really terrible. and i seriously cant tahan it anymore. and mr cough seems to have found me once again too. sigh. no good at all. anyhow, i finally pull myself to the doctor. hopefully, the medicine will cure me fast!
on the happier note, i received a nice projectbloodshop sling bag from my two dearie colleagues in my MICE sales department.
ms nicole wang dailin and ms jasmine choo. (no more aunty aunty liao. haha.) they've been really nice to me since i gto in sentosa. teaching me stuffs, getting me food and etc. so there, super lots thanks to both of you!

there's an active flu virus going on in our sentosa sales department. last week it hit the memberships and promotions sales department. now, it's in action in my MICE sales department. and 4 out of 5 of us in MICE have caught it already. including me. the only one who hasnt got affected is jasmine (my dear sales executive), but guess its a matter of time only. haha. so there, all of us are either sneezing away, rubbing our noses or feeling real sloppy cos' of the flu thingy. sad case. hope it will go away soon. i seriously dont welcome this feeling yea.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND BRO ADDY!had a wonderful 'crab feast dinner' at ang mo kio just now with my brothers (weiliang and kangming), jiafang and siokzhi.
- oat-prawns (very cripsy and delicious!)- vegetables (as usual de lah)- hotplate tofu (weird but they served it in a mini wok. nevertheless, it was damn nice yea!)- 'man tou' (small cutie fried buns. and we actually ordered like 24 of it! heh. )- last of all is our main aim, the super big chilli crab! best!the crab we had was like damn big size man. the body of the crab was like the same size, if not most probably bigger than my head can! and its so meaty! the rest of the food were also very nice, no wonder so many people went there to eat. we actually had to wait like one whole hour for our food to be served! and the coffeeshop was like full house when we got there around 8pm. heh. special thanks to my brothers
(weiliang and kangming) for the delicious meal and especially for the chilli crab! super duper yummy!

there's a crossroad in front of you.north, south, east, west. which road would you choose to take even eventually?do you first consider the type of road ahead? as in stretch of straights, full of bends, combination of both? to put it simple, do you go fer an easy journey or a challenging one? how about the consequences to the choices. do you actually take that into consideration.
in life, we'll come across many crossroad junctions. and for some of us, we just dash onto whatever's available or rely solely on our very first instinct, without much thoughts actually. the typical advanturous personality. but for some, we may pause our journey, sit and down give each alternative route some careful thoughts before deciding on which route to take. so, which is better? should we give careful thoughts before deciding on the routes or journey ahead or should we be explorative instead and choose the one which appeals to our curiousity most. both ways have their own pros and cons. and its really up to individuals to decide which side weighs heavier than the other. but due to the differences in perceptions of each individual, some routes may seems attractive to one, but boring or too tedious fer another.
but no matter what, i guess the most important lesson is that we must stick to whatever was initially decided on and strive on along the road regardless of how high the obstacles or difficult the road ahead is. you chose it, you better finished it. oh maybe with the exceptions of some cases where some people really got their choices wrong and its fer the good that they give up their original decision fer the new and better. strong determination is needed here really when comes to trying to sticking on to our decision. there's gonna be so much temptations and distractions along the way. and especially fer the fact that most or all of us are indecisive and prone to change our minds easily. thus, we must have the necessary faith and will in mind all the time, to believe in whatever we're have chosen and doing. either one point missing, we'll most probably end up losing our concentration and eventually giving the whole thing up. which is a rather sad case yea. cos shouldnt we always give our best fer everything and hold on tight to our beliefs and choices.
there shouldnt be any regrets remember?<>

started my five months attachment at sentosa on monday. i was attached to the sales department, handling the
MICE sales. there's really alot to learn on the job, damn lots of information and procedures to remember, from doing invoices to preparing quotations and proposals fer clients. anyhow, the people there are quite friendly and helpful, and they're slowly guiding me along. hope i can learn the ropes well and fast!

desaru was a blast!siokzhi, me, xiusi, jiafang, kangming, marcus, louis, choon guan, joseph, weiliang, kaiwei-day 1-had breakfast with dear siokzhi at burgerking before we set off fer the changi ferry terminal. birdie was supposed to meet us too but she overslept and woke up at only 8.30am! anyhow, she was still in time fer breakfast and we set off to changi in cab after tat. met the rest up there and boarded the waterfront cruise to our desination
DESARU!
we had a simple chinese lunch after checking into the resort, afterwhich we proceed to play the exciting
go-kart racing. the go-kart looked ok but it was surely fast and it had quite a few corner turns which adds on to the challenge! by the way, my dear xiusi birdie actually went into the wrong lane at the start of it and siokzhi followed suit! haha. after the go-karting, we crossed over to the
"ATV" sector, its some sort of 4WD where you go thru muddy spots/waters and challenging grounds. even more exciting than the go-kart but the down side was tat you have to get real dirty with all the mud waters splashing on you. heh. after some watching, the three of us (siokzhi, xiusi, me) went over to the
beautiful beach fer some romantic walks, photo-taking and then followed by crazy water splashing session. ok, by the time we realised our craziness, we were so wet already. hah. anyhow, our next stop was supposedly archery. but sway sway, it was closed. we walked all fer nothing! and we went back to our room fer bath and rest and then gathered again fer dinner at this place called
"jun". the food was quite nice and the fish was super fresh! yummy! after dinner, we bought lots of tidbits and proceed back to resort and then it was over at guys room fer "bluff" and my
secret suprise fer xiusi birdie with km's help. i actually smuggled sparkles and km brought lightsticks fer the surprise. it was like a mad rush preparing it cos xiusi birdie was over at the guys room while we prepare it in a short time. anyhow, hope she like it. haha. then lastly, it was sleeping time! xiusi's favourite! haha.
-day 2-
was sort of forced to wake up at 4.30am fer xiusi's
sunrise watching session. kangming and joseph joined we three girls. but unfortunately, it was rather cloudy and we didnt managed to see it. then we headed back to room fer a short nap afterwhich all of us gathered again fer the
american breakfast at the resort's restaurant. then, its whole of fun with the beach and sea! we had
jetski, banana boat, beaching, a little tanning plus a whole lot of fun with the waves and sand! the jet ski was damn exciting and the banana boat too! after tat, we went back to room fer rest and shower. then it was dinner over at
"jun" again. the stingray and prawns were super nice! anyway, the guys bought alot of tidbits again. haha. after leaving
"jun", we proceed to the long awaited
firefly cruise! and yes, we saw fireflies! many many fireflies! but then i guessed it could be more if the few irritating people in front of us didnt kept taking pictures and scaring the poor flies with the huge flash. wth. so dark in the swamp area, wats there to take you tell me. machiam you can see very clearly the flies in the photo. and oh, siokzhi was so hot about it tat she prayed fer the camera to drop into the waters! haha. so funny. after the cruise, we went over to the guys room. i played
mahjong while xiusi and siokzhi took a nap. and then finally, it was
kangming's surprise birthday celebration over at the beach. we prepared sparkles which spelt out "19" and pizzas as in replacement fer birthday cake. after tat, we went back to room and i continued my mahjong with the guys till 3plus while xiusi and siokzhi, weiliang and jiafang go sleep.
-day 3-
buffet breakfast at 9am! we were spoilt fer choices! the buffet had roti prata, fried noodles, american breakfast (the eggs, hotdogs and toasts), porridge, nasi lemak and even cerals like coco-crunch, honeystars and cornflakes with milk! fer the drinks, it had the typical orange juice, wheat juice and the usual coffee and tea. heh. after the very full breakfast, we went back to our room to pack up.
xiusi proceed to sleep again. haha. me and siokzhi went over to guys room fer mahjong. at around 1pm, we checked out and proceed to the jetty via our private coach. and lastly, it was our ferry ride home.

overall, the trip was certainly a fun, exciting and memorable one. we had great food, fun and exciting activities, nice accommodation and of course the great company of each other! 3days 2nights fer the trip sounds rather short but it was just nice fer desaru, and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! looking forward to another such trip. heh.

5th october 2005 : malaysia trip with edelina jie, winnie and yanfang. visits : city square, palangi plaza (johor, malaysia)the whole was fun, exciting and truly enjoyable! heh. the journey was simply filled with great food, nice and cheap ktv, and fantastic shopping sprees! it was so fun and all that we happily filled our bags with stuffs and some more on our hands. haha. and oh, we watched the "flightplan" movie too! damn cheap lah can. only RM$6 cos its ladies nite! heh.

the tendency to forget that we ourselves are vulnerable to mistakes is always there.mistakes are inevitable. we understood this fact. and we knew it all along. but still, sometimes we find others, or even ourselves in situations where we neglects this fact so true. we simply refused to admit it when we are wrong or the point that we have done something wrong. why is it so. it aint that difficult for one to admit his/her mistakes right. though maybe it still needs some considerable amount of courage and sincerity to do so.
and you know how we sometimes looked upon mistakes as the weakest links. its the same as when we often make mistakes for one part of a study subject, it naturally reflects the point that we're weak in that area. but this is only true to a certain extent. when we make mistakes, it doesnt means surely we're weak in that something, it may just mean that we're careless or not careful enough. and, though mistakes may somehow expose our weakest links to others, it on the other hand points out where we could reflect and improve. cliche isnt it.
generally, it all boils down to having the courage to admit our mistakes and then reflects on it so that we could improve on whatever's not yet perfect. the first may sounds difficult cos it may involves some matters of pride at times, but then when we gathered that enough courage and determination to move on with it and get to do the latter, we'll realised that its actually all very much worth it.
