why is it that we realise the pain of losing only when we really lost it.
why is it that we dont take things seriously until they became serious.
why is it that the things we do are always quite far apart from the things we said.

sometimes its scary to think of the above. cos they seem just so true and at the same time harsh on us. many a times we took the things or people around us for granted, living on the misconception that they would always be there for us. but reality reflects just the opposite. it shows us how fast and sudden these could come and go, and sometimes even without any explanation or the slightest warning. we know we shouldnt behave like this, really. we should cherish and hang on tight. yet the funny thing is that we always had all these knowledge in us and yet we dont act on it for most of the time. and then we happily complaint that life isnt fair or that fate had already arranged everything when we all knew deep down that it's actually us who dont cherish enough so we lose it. its like we didnt put in enough effort to make it stay.

on another note, we love to act without giving much considerations to the consequences that may come along. ok correct me, maybe we are not like this all the time, but for a lot of times i bet we are. we just thought that our 'little' actions wont harm or affect much, but unfortunately sometimes they do bring about huge consequences which we do not expect in the first place. and when they do, we start to panic and struggle to solve. and then regret for not giving the enough attention, when actually we could.

i guess most of us had already realised the fact that we dont normally do what we preach. its actually a pretty common scene among us human beings and its part of human nature i guess. thus it really amazed me how some of us, the rare few, managed to overcome it and actually do what they preached to others. its a matter of principle and control i think. and im pretty sure it aint easy, like what the proverb says "it's easier said than done". i guess many must have tried hard to follow their words but ended up in the 'failure state', being set aback by the bad habit of taking the easy way out for things. like i said, its not easy at all. it takes more than determination and self-discipline to balance your words and actions.

is being careful necessary something good? i know many of us would agree tat being careful will at least minimise the number of mistakes tat we might make. and yes, i am one of them. being careful will definitely helps to decrease the chances of us making careless mistakes. but the question here is, does it means tat being really careful will thus eliminate all wrongs tat may come? i guess we are just too used and into this concept, thus the misperceptions tat "being careful = no mistake"

its time we realise tat being careful might not necessary means less wrongs or even no wrongs at all. how each situation gonna rise out to be will depend on the individual. to put it simply, the same concept can be applied to everyone of us, but the end results may differ. some may benefit from the extra careful, resulting in lesser mistake and better productivity. but there are others, who might make more mistakes in the process of trying to minimise their mistakes. sounds like contradiction, but this is the way life works. its never really a definite answer, leaving you to explore the thousand and one possibilities tat can happen.
