thousand thanks to everybody who joined me in my birthday celebrations! the mood was duper high throughout the celebrations and seriously i enjoyed myself very much! hope you guys had fun too! and thanks so much for all the wonderful presents!

mini pre-birthday celebration with my two dearest sisters,
shiqi and edelina. we had dinner at the ambientic sushi teh at holland village before proceeding to gelare for some yummy ice-cream. and they gave me a sweet surprise with a candle on the waffle basket ice-cream! thanks so much! and i like the cute presents too! =)
20th oct 2006 (friday) - THE BIG DAY!wicky, jolene, xinni jie, yanfang, winnie, hazel, pearlinhappy happy birthday to me! man im
officially 20 already, damn, means im getting old. well anyway, had my celebration at serangoon circus area with my wonderful bunch of friends. i was late, sorry peeps! well, brought them over to
borshe steakhouse for a nice steaky dinner while waiting for wicky to off duty. then we went over to
"k garden" as recommended by yanfang for some ktv action! like how can i dun sing on my big day right? hehs. things were well and normal at first when we went in, but when the rather hot music starts, my dearest "nanny" miss hazel started dancing and jumping around like never before! like so damn high lah. and so the rest of us joined in the fun and got sibeh high together. hahas. all the dirty dancing and crazy movements, so damn fun man. and halfway through the craziness was the cake cutting session! they bought me a cake with my nickname
"zhutou" on it! after cutting cake was another round of
"HIGHness", we went around smearing cakes on each others face! hahas. wicky left abit earlier and the rest of ended the celebration around 2am and we all cabbed home.
=)21st oct 2006 (saturday) :xiusi, jiani, kaiwei, peiyu, bro joseph, joanna, kaiyang, choon guan, marcus, bro kangming, louis, carolyn, winnie, kien leongtoday's bbq celebration was actually courtesy of mr fan kaiwei. he was really nice to organise the bbq session for my birthday celebration. we were kinda late in starting the shopping and preparation of food at first, but all was well when finally the bbq was up and going. everybody had a part in the preparation, some cutting, some setting up fire and some others cooking! we looked like we're running a resturant! hehs. and oh i prepared kababs and pasta for the peeps too! oh one important thing before i happily forget, many thanks to
mr choon guan who baked me a lovely cake for my birthday! i was sooo touched! hehs. ended the bbq around 12am and played maple story while the guys drove some of them home. damn lame, its my first time playing. and it doesnt quite help when the person sitting beside me, mr choon guan's keep doing "disturbing" actions with the character. oh btw, the character's name was "sichoonguan". wahahas. after all were back, we split up in louis and kaiwei's car and headed down to louis's house for some mahjong before going home in the morning.
ps joseph: the organiser and pink parker pen was really my 'style' man. thanks.
so there, my 3 consecutive days of celebrations for my 20th birthday.

well, i guess sometimes its that difficult to learn.remember those pretty yet sinful childhood days where we might have accidentally stumbled our yakults and made a mess out of them and then what usually follows was some fair share of lecturing from our parents or elders. and after the lesson, which sometimes comes in a package complete with some exciting caning session, we would promise others that there wouldnt be another time. swear and swear and swear. no next time!
yet sadly after awhile, the devil in us got the better of us again and we ended up repeating the same old mistake. as usual, the consequences follow and we began our choir singing again. the same process is being repeated time and time again, throughout our younger days, and maybe it might continue for the rest of our lives. humans, sadly we never learn. oh well, maybe not to that extreme. we do learn in most situations, all of us will agree on this. its just that sometimes the temptation's too strong, or maybe i shall give the benefit of doubt that we are forgetful (of what we've just been through), which leads to us repeating those mistakes again. we keep digging pitholes and jumping into it. wouldnt that be tiring?
i know i know. things are easier said than done. to learn from mistakes is a good way to being a better one and he who is wise earn his success the hard way out, which is through making mistakes. but then again, the wise one doesnt repeat the same mistakes. thats the crucial point and everybody knows that it aint easy to do that. we have all been through times where we would keep doing the same wrong for whatever reasons, and maybe sometimes its really accidental. remember, we are not made flawless, thus mistakes are acceptable. but, that only applies to a certain extent please. we have to learn and correct whats wrong, still. learning is always an on going process, its not a sentence and then full stop. its like a never ending composition, where if we happens to make the errors again in any of the paragraphs, it will be spotted and marks deducted. once, twice, it may be okay. but if this continues throughout the whole story, i guess pretty much the reader will sooner or later lose interest or faith in it. and eventually, give up the idea of reading it.
we've to try to put things right before we want others to see it the way we do. and bear in mind that judgements shouldnt always be based on perceptions and assumptions, we may not be right all the time. oh, one last thing, its pretty rude to judge. who'll like that anyway?

oh wells, been abit lazy to blog nowadays. all the readings for my uni modules are getting a little taxing and it doesnt quite help when i read and read and still like dont understand much. big headache man. sighs. oh on the lighter note, my birthday is coming!
