its pretty amusing why people can get angry simply by the flick of moment and yet it may takes ages before you can get them to feel touched or to understand. i may sound cliche by saying this, but i feel that both situations are rather similar. they work on almost same principles, at least to me. let me start with the latter, getting the other party (ies) to feel touched or understand your point. so how to go about it? well, in normal circumstances, we use words or body gestures, and maybe even eye contacts to try bring across our intentions. but sadly, somehow these intentions always fail to catch or stay on the same frequency as the other party. ok, so in the end point is not brought across correctly or never at all, which results in more misunderstanding, disappointments or whatever that comes along.
contrary to the latter situation, the first situation seems to be an easier task, very easy in fact for most times. like i said, they work on same principles. the use of eye contacts, body gestures and/or words together. but the difference is, just any one of the elements alone is enough to provoke the other party. queer isnt it? previously we try and try, using all that we can, and still the point may not be brought across. yet, to get a person all heat-up just takes maybe some eye contacts or gestures (some fingers usually).
so to conclude, i guess our human minds work on such weird mechanisms that maybe even god will find it difficult to pass.

i. am. tired. not a clown. yeah, always look on bright side of life eh.but things are easier said than done. always.totally screwed up.
christmas eve celebration - 24th dec 2006this year's christmas eve celebration was something special. we didnt head down town and didnt get ourselves in the war zone defending and attacking with colourful ribbons spray and snowy foams. instead, we settled down on something simple, yet its still all fun and cosy.
- met up the girls at kovan to buy our ingredients and stuffs before going over to winnie's house
- cooking session with me and winnie being the main chefs whipping up a delicious christmas eve meal! let's see, we have nuggets and onion rings, the usual spaghetti with mushrooms and ham and also my very own recipe "hazelnuts crusted d' salmon" (specially created for ms hazel).
- after dinner it was a small gift exchange ceremony between us girls before heading down to chomp chomp at midnight to meet up with the guys for the ktv session at k-garden.
- sang, played with party packs, drank lots of tiger beer and finally ended the session with photo-takings.
- went over to mac to buy some food and headed down to louis's house for the night.
- played poker and then went up to sleep. while some continued till morning. power.
- woke up 8plus and went for heavy breakfast with hazel and jolene before heading home.
in summary, its nice to have your loved ones around with you through the season of celebrations. the place doesnt matters actually, its the people tat makes the ultimate difference.

life's been pretty over-happening these days.
but im rather lazy to list out the details so it shall all be short and sweet.
2nd dec 2006 (saturday) - winnie chen zhenwen 20th birthday celebration =P- peeps includes winnie (bday girl), jolene, xinni, hazel, wicky, kienleong, me, pearlin, yanfang.
- went ktv singing and strangling in the noon at jurong east entertainment centre.
- ended ktv late and rushed over to have our late dinner over at swensen's. had delicious but small looking half spring chicken (must be they kill the baby chicken, tats why is small) and gave winnie a delighted birthday surprise with an ice-cream birthday cum log cake.
=)- went over to rouge. had some pins of tiger and headed down to dance floor for some crazy moves with yanfang, hazel, xinni, wicky and etc.
- ended everything early wee hours, cabbed home sweet home.
=)8th dec 2006 (friday) - jolene birthday celebration- met up with hazel after work to get the birthday cakes while yanfang go get the flowers.
- as usual was late for meeting at marina bay and winnie da jie was so gonna beat me up. hehe.
- went over to "pin xian" again for steamboat. had some meat and lots of prawns (die gonna have high high cholestrol liao). my
dear 'lao po cum nai ma' hazel was so busy peeling prawns and feeding me and making sure i am well fed. wow. feel soo loved.
=)- had the cake-cutting session after the so-filling dinner and headed to arcade for some bishy-bashy actions. and again, yanfang was the winner.
reason must be 'she is violent de'. hahahs.
- went my favourite bowling too! managed to hit a not bad score of 115. and all of us had fun laughing and giggling at dunno wat. oh before i forget, i lost a bet to lao po hazel too. hahs.
- cabbed home. yet again. this time five of us in a cab!
9th dec 2006 (saturday)- dinner at tiong bahru's long john silvers with bro joseph, yanfang, winnie and hazel. was late again. sorry bro and hazel darling!

MOS after that only to find the queue was damn long. up till liang court you know! and so so so, we decided to move over to
DOUBLE O.
- kangming, kaiwei, wicky and pals, xinni, winnie's frens joined in the crowd.
- had some bottles of breezers before changing taste to bourbon coke cos it was really cheap, going at $3 per glass man! and all this while im crazily dancing on the dance floor. oh that was high man. wahahas.
- all of us stayed till its time for closing and again, we cabbed home.
