understanding is never easy, thats why people are always trying to understand.and true understanding is one step higher, cos it looks into and beyond.telling people that 'i understand' reflects mere superficial understanding of the person or matter in question. just like in examinations, simply answering 'yes i agree' or 'no i do not' doesnt really present your understanding of the question. it just simply reflects, well maybe just your stand or choice. so this doesnt gives you all the marks, isnt it? for your stand to be a complete, valid or at least understood, it has to be supported. by views, evidences, and so on. so generally speaking, you cant stop at your stand - which is the start, you have to go on from there. likewise the same applies to the case of people management in our everyday life. simply say 'i understand' is definitely not enough. if you'd really understood what was being conversed, you should explain. of course we're not gonna be explaining like the way we do in exams and essays. maybe try rephrasing their problems and saying out your views will make a not bad choice.
you know, we love to contradict alot. like saying one and doing the other. oh wells, we do have the habit of telling people we understand but actually we dont or we add on with more questions, dont we? real understanding comes with 'enough said and no need for questions/doubts right? hmm talking about that, remember the 'legend' of how curiosity kills a cat? -hope i do make some sense in this faraway link- too much curiosity or rather, questions cant really kill us, cos we're not cats afterall. but well, it may well dampened some mood or worst, it kills trust. try think about the times when you quarrelled with your loved ones or besties, the common 'questions and answers session' and so on. quite often 'understanding' is the key subject matter that surrounds and the q&a session usually plays the critical key to the entire episode. despite its tendency to make everything worst off, it is still well-liked by everybody. how cliche right. so people, we do love to 'debate' and outspeak each other eh? and so we keep asking and wanting answers that we are comfortable with. but on the other hand, we neglected the fact that the other party aint some crime offenders who deserves all that drilling.
my brain is tiny.
so far its been around 3 months since school started. and its already one project, 4 individual assignments and 2 tests. and there's more to come still. spending my recent life rushing them out and studying like mad even though it does not constitute any of my final gradings. well, its only the grand final exams tat counts for uol. its rather stressful really, but i believe it will helps towards the ending still. hard work pays off, they say. and so, i believe.
hectic school life. busy work schedules. mountains of shits to clear.
and people problem chose to hit at this very same time.
school, work, people.
i need a break.
