global economy downturn.
in times like these, we need to stand together.starting from early this year, the american market started to face serveral downturns and economic bad hits. from the initial gold rush to rising oil prices and falling US$ rates, america is now facing one of most challenging times ever. and being one of the main 'leader' of the global economy, the impact was felt on other countries too, including our homeland, singapore. to add on to the crisis, natural disasters such as floods and droughts continuingly plauge countries across the continents. we see america and other western regions facing droughts and nearby neighbours such as china and taiwan having tropical storm floods. admist these, we still face the constant struggle with the global terrorism.
the only consolation we have now may be the beijing olympic games which has just drawn its curtains. it may be the rare occasion in the current times on efforts to boost the global economy. but the question is again, did it came at the right time? as in, with markets having bad times and people are most probably tightening their belts, did the games bring about the maximum benefits it was supposed to bring? well, i am certain it did contribute to boosting more sales and spendings, but definitely not acheiving what it actually could. nevertheless, it certainly brought almost the whole world together, great bonding isnt it, especially in times like this.
the worst times for us or our best chance to rise?
talking about economy downturn and bad market times, the very first thought that comes to our mind is often the 'usual set meal' which comprises of starters - tightening wallets, soup - freezing our ideas of investments, main course - putting on the very best performance and throwing in free OTs and lastly the desserts - sail accordingly to the wind, meaning : win everybody's heart, especially the top shots. the main reason for this set meal is obvious: to protect ourselves, to prevent us from getting the golden boot, or more simply to ensure we still have our livelihood. we give our best to ensure perfect delivery of our tasks and upkeep our performance.
look, we are trying this hard to keep our ricebowls. or, can i say we are trying so hard because we knew it is our comfort zone and we dont wish to have it disturbed? staying on with the same job definitely gives a whole list of perks. familiarity of people and policies, comfortable environment, knowledge of tasks and expectations, blah blah and the list goes on. in contrary, getting a new job means preparation for interviews, time and efforts on orientation of the new settings and of course, everything will have to be start almost from scratch. sounds a whole truck of troubles doesnt it? but then again, leaving the comfort zone for this new stranger area may not always be a bad move. sometimes, it is a wise move indeed.
how shall i put it through? as many perks and familiarity the comfort zone provides, the new stranger area is able to give as much new challenges as we explore through. the comfort zone may be abit too nice to leave behind, but how long do we want to stay on the same spot running? they say success goes to those who dare, and i felt it has certain percentage of truth in it. say we work in the field of admin for a reasonable payslip, here comes the downturn and we are given this wonderful opportunity by our employer: to go or to stay with a discounted pay. if we stay, we can have the comfort zone but less comforting pay. or do we pack our bags and try the next journey? well, as always, we dont know till we try it out. there are far too many cases in real life to prove this theory true, a change of job may increase pay as well as explore the potential of oneself that was never discovered before. like, engineer may never thought of doing financial jobs but they still did it. actually,
there's alot of possibilities and breakthroughs available in life, but its up to us whether to go for it or just let it be.
bad times are not always out to break us, there are times whereby they open up the new roads for us to trudge on.

An easy totally FOC money earning (though not those quick bucks kind!) program for you guys!Homepages Friends It is your own search homepage which works the same way as the search engines that you know such as Google, Yahoo etc. This question should be revolving inside your mind "Then I might as well use Yahoo or Google to do the search"Yup you are right on target. Now I am going to introduce to you HPF (HomePages Friends) which is similarly to Google and Yahoo yet letting you earn some extra income while doing your search.
How Does Homepages Friends Work?Firstly, you need to register with HPF which is 100% free. HPF is free due to the fact that income earn by you are spilt 50/50 with them. After which, you will need to set HPF as your homepage and you can begin you search. Make sure your Internet Browser is IE7 or Mozilla Firefox to qualify for the earnings as well. Do your search as usual like how you used Google and Yahoo but now every single unique search will earn you some income. However, do not keep searching as there is a detection device by HPF to see if there is any fraud search. Results from the search are powered by Yahoo so this makes HPF very much useful and yet earning extra income at the same time.
How Can You Benefit From This System?I'm sure everyone of you reading my blog are using search engines to search for information that you want too. Therefore, why not use
HPF to earn some money for every search that you made. However, I would like to emphasize again not to use the search just to earn income. Do your normal web browsing or search as usual. You might be thinking that this is another lowly paid program but I feel that it is relatively reasonable. Since all of us search for information through the search engine, why don't we use SPH to do the search since the search results are powered by Yahoo.
How Much Can You Earn? This should be the part that most of you are keen of. Every single unique search that you made earn you from £0.01 - £0.03. Let's say you do 30 searches a day, you can earn like £0.30 - £0.90 which in a month you could earn £9.00 - £27.00.Not too bad for no work done at all. You could earn up to 3 tier referral and I doubt your friend would say no to this since they could earn some extra income for things that they do everyday.Do note that your earning are updated daily and not right after you do the search.
