HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERBODY!!!
at the strike of midnight yesterday, along with shouts and cheers, dazzling fireworks and everybody's excitement, 2010 proudly announced its arrival!!
2009 has been good. of course, there have been downs and frustration but still, it was good because after going through so many things, people, events.. we're all still together - smiling and ready to move on to the new year. looking back, we saw how US crumbled on the banking debts/lapse, causing the rest of the world economies falling into the blackhole and every countries trying their best to climb up the hole to find that glimpse of light. with lehman brothers down-crashing, many rich became poor or even debt-ridden overnight, thousands of retrenchment follows, companies downsizing or even became history in a matter of days. everybody was shocked, at the speed and impact of this downfall, we were obviously not ready. of course, in reality, we knew such an event couldnt haven been sparkled overnight. poor management of credits and debt lending and on-purpose hiding of situation by the upper heads were the actual culprits of this world economy turmoil.
and so, we struggled through this period coping with retrenchments, rising living costs yet decreasing money rolling in as this gradually becomes a norm shared across people of the world. we no longer spend as we like, we think thrice or more when spending and feel safe only when the money is in our own pockets. but ladies and gentlemen, we survived. even though the economies upset and market bad times are still on going, we are still here standing strong, ready for the battle.
for me, 2009 has been eventful. the struggle with health issues and getting a job to finally getting one and the skies clearing on my health issue. well, im proud to say i survived the ride too. and now for 2010, a happy new year and a whole new set of resolutions:
1) moving on to a new job that i like
2) be happy and smiling always
3) good health for me and my loved ones
4) more travelling - especially eyeing on cambodia, vietnam and china
5) earn and save more $$$
6) world peace and green
7) need to get my ass to go gym and start exercising
8) get a dslr camera and learn photography
9) time to get a new desptop too!

may 2010 be a good and exciting year for each and every one of us =)
